Hiring Policies:
Clerks are hired each year for one to two-year clerkships commencing in the fall. Applicants must submit cover letter, resume, undergraduate and law school transcripts, two letters of reference and one writing sample. Law review or other writing experience and an interest in international trade are considered in ranking applicants. Must be willing to travel occasionally. Vacancies are posted on the Online System for Clerkship Application and Review (OSCAR) and applications should file their application materials electronically there.

Intern Vacancies

Judge Restani accepts applications for interns. Interns will work directly for law clerks, performing legal research and writing for international trade and circuit cases. Applicants must submit a resume, cover letter detailing your interest in international trade or other work of the court, copy of law school transcript, and legal writing sample. All internships are unpaid positions. Summer intern applicants must also submit a copy of their undergraduate transcript. Chambers does not accept applications from current LLM students.

Positions are filled on a rolling basis, but decisions are generally made around November 1 for spring applicants, February 1 for summer applicants, and August 1 for fall applicants.
