The United States Court of International Trade has a
continuing need for counsel to represent, on a pro bono basis,
indigent litigants involved in cases pending before the Court pursuant
to Title 28 U.S.C. § 1581 (d). If you are an attorney admitted to
practice before the Court, you are encouraged to consider volunteering a
portion of your time to assist in the efficient and fair resolution of
these disputes. Some expenses and costs are reimbursable. For details
and the form necessary to apply for reimbursement, please see the
Attorneys’ Information Page/Court Appointed Counsel, on the Court’s
Website ( www.cit.uscourts.gov).
To join the list of those serving in this capacity, please contact the
Case Management Supervisor, (212) 264-2031.
As an attorney who provides pro bono legal
services, you may be eligible for continuing legal education (CLE)
credits. See for example, NY Ct. Rules, Title 28 § 1500.22 (j).
