Requirements and Benefits
The electronic filing system is simple and easy to use. Hardware
and software requirements are minimal and inexpensive.
Technical requirements:
1. a personal computer (PC clone / Apple Macintosh)
2. an Internet connection
3. Netscape Navigator 4.6x or 4.7x (Netscape 6.x or Netscape 7.0
is not recommended).
4. Adobe Acrobat 4.0 or higher
5. a scanner (optional) for imaging documents which do not exist
in electronic format
Other Requirements:
1.
Attorneys must be admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of
International Trade.
2. Attorneys must register in advance before filing electronically
to obtain an Identification Name and Password that serve as the attorney's
signature for purposes of USCIT R.11 for documents that are filed
electronically.
3. The action is designated for electronic filing in accordance
with USCIT Administrative Order 02-01.
